 CATHOLIC PRESS MONTH - BANGALORE A Report "Catholic Press Month" extols the value of good reading material in the home and encourages Catholics to form a habit of Reading Bible and other good Catholic literature.  As the mission entrusted to us by our Founder Bl. James Alberione, is also the same; to proclaim the Gospel through the Press and other means of Communication, we, the community of Bangalore, took advantage of this occasion and organized the celebration of Catholic Press Month, highlighting this theme, in St Patrick’s Parish, on Sunday, February 16, with the cooperation of Parish Team. They made announcement on 9th, one week prior to the actual day, and on 16th, informing the people of this and encouraging them to take advantage of this opportunity. On 16th, we displayed Bibles and many other Catholic Magazines and Literature, during all the 5 Masses in the morning.       As I conclude my internship at Pauline Book and Media Centre, I look back at this experience with immense gratitude and a newfound appreciation for the dedication, patience and skill that goes into running a bookstore. Something that started as a simple internship quickly became a journey of learning and growth. From my very first day, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. Sister Mary Joseph Ponatt: the General Manager, congratulated me on joining while Sister Abha: the assistant store manager greeted me with her kind smile. Anusha Akka: the receptionist showed me around the store and Jyothi Didi: a salesperson patiently guided me through my tasks. Then there was Kumar Sir, the store’s veteran with 27 years of experience whose humor made even the most mundane tasks enjoyable.
